Welcome Back Everyone - Nau mai haere mai

We've survived the first week back!!!
This week we have talked a lot about the new Nayland Primary logo so the ideas from that are used below.



Achieving Brilliance
Great work in all subjects - Josh O
Trying our best on things that are hard - Arabella
Putting a great effort on the Keeping Clever maths activities - Mrs Mackean
I got into one of the Rippa Rugby Teams - Brody
We've worked well with Constable John, Mrs R and Dallas this week.
The Writing Rockets have made a great start and had a successful week - Mrs Mackean
We had a great soccer session with Nicole

Kia Kaha
We moved away from someone silly at lunchtime - Holly and Summer
I had to help a friend - Arabella
Some people had to be brave and tell the teacher about things their friends had done - well done!
I told someone to stop bullying - and they did - Ciara

Confident Learners
Thank you for trying the new 'Keeping Clever' boxes for maths, you're doing a great job - Mrs Mackean
Brianna was brave and told us her answer even though she wasn't sure if she was right
We are looking forward to making our photo essays next week about the Nayland Primary Logo

Creative Communities
We had 6 teachers on Monday......
Thank you; Mr Sawyer for taking school singing, Mrs R for all the work with spelling, Constable John for talking to us about keeping safe, Nicole for showing us how to dribble a soccer ball, Dallas for helping us with basketball and Mrs Mackean for the rest of the day.

We are starting to train for Cross Country which is in week 6.
We have talked a lot this week about Anzac Day and some of us are looking forward to the Dawn Parade tomorrow.
